School Council

At the start of every academic year, each class votes for two children to represent them on the School Council. The council meets regularly with the headteacher. They talk about the school, put forward their ideas and arrange activities and fund raising. They share the work they have carried out with the school in assemblies and through their noticeboard in the hall. Their chosen charity for 2012 - 2013 is Shelterbox.

Our school councillors are also our Eco-Team, who lead the school with activities to reduce waste and save electricity and water. In January 2013 their hard work was rewarded with and Eco-Schools Silver Award.
