We aim to provide the best possible education for the children at Leighfield School. We give the highest priority to children's achievement, happiness and sense of fulfilment to enable every child to achieve his or her full potential. We see this not only in terms of academic success but in the development of his or her whole personality.

We benefit from good relationships with the community and have a thriving Parents’ Association called Friends of Leighfield School. We work in close collaboration with other schools through the Midshires Partnership and are a feeder school for Uppingham Community College. We are also a member of Affinity Teaching School Alliance.
